We switched to full on peak mode a few weeks ago here at Exact Abacus, with our own version of Santa’s helpers working around the clock to fulfil orders, but that didn’t slow down our new contract wins in October. On the contrary, we wanted to help out as many online retailers as possible in the eleventh hour to ensure they could relax, safe in the knowledge that their orders will be sent out to eager Christmas shoppers in line with their delivery promises.
Here’s a round-up of our new customers.
Rapid Product Development hold contracts with a host of the UK’s most recognisable consumer brands. They initially sought our logistics expertise to support the launch of a new drinks product and will require our ongoing help as the product popularity builds over the coming months.
As well as storing, picking, packing and dispatching the product range, we have also connected their Shopify platform via our API ready to collect orders as soon as they start to drop in November.
Primarily a multi-channel drop-shipper with orders coming from Amazon, eBay and Shopify, Clearstone Trading have a broad range covering everything from toys and gifts to pet products.
The client will be using our technology-led fulfilment services to flip their business model from drop shipping to a stocked product model. Central to this decision was an invitation to become a “Seller Fulfilled Prime” (SFP) vendor. SFP is a new initiative by Amazon to enable top-tier sellers who regularly hit high service levels for Amazon’s customers, to attain a Prime badge for their products. It allows the merchant to fulfil their products from their own warehouse, or from a 3PL, rather than through Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA).
