Exact Abacus has started its 30th Birthday celebrations early with the launch of a new brand and four new websites. The Chorley based business, founded in June 1984, are a market leader in eCommerce services, providing business management and eCommerce software, outsourced fulfilment and digital marketing services. With three specialisms offered in isolation, Exact Abacus’ family brand recognition was low.
Managing Director, Lee Gregson comments “Our 30 years in business are a huge achievement especially through the recession. We decided that our success should be matched with communications that reinforce our heritage and offering.”
The brand re-fresh strategy focused on the company’s end-to-end proposition for eCommerce services; a valuable solution for any online retailer looking for business growth and a cost-effective solution. The branding exercise also aimed to simplify the proposition. Lee continues; “Exact Abacus supports eCommerce businesses but market feedback suggested that our audience was not aware of the extent to which our services inter-link. We set about to clarify our portfolio and develop our future success with online retailers.”
The strategy led to the development of four new websites; one for each service and a website to explain the Exact Abacus Group. Exact Abacus Digital, the compaRny’s digital marketing agency, designed and developed the brand and website portfolio. Lee says: “With our very own agency, specialising in website design and development, user experience, conversion rate optimisation and responsive design, we were lucky enough to have the in house expertise to drive our strategy forwards. We now have principle marketing platforms that encompass interactive lead generation tools, a polished experience across all devices and our growth plans are supported.”
