Exact Abacus last night walked away with one of the Top Honours at the Marketing Society Northern Awards. Having been nominated for Best IT & Communications Marketing Campaign for their own rebrand and product repositioning strategy, Exact came away victorious against some very strong competition including leading brands Talk Talk and Siemens.
The win signifies a large step for Exact Abacus who last year rebranded the company and the 3ex.net eCommerce software product, whilst developing a far stronger digital presence via paid and non-paid search marketing and regular email campaigns. The effectiveness of the digital campaign was highlighted during the period 12 month period March 2010 through to March 2011, during which time, the website has seen a 69% rise in total traffic, of which there has been an 80% rise in unique visitors to the site. The onsite conversion has increased by 1022%, peaking in March 2011.
