In detailing our policy, we aim to continually improve our performance and will evidence this through regular consultation with our stakeholders. To help define our approach, we consider CSR from three distinct perspectives:
Community: helping people understand the role we play as a large local employer and contributing our expertise to enhance the work of charities, sports clubs and volunteer groups.
We recognise that we play an important role in our local communities and we aim to make these better places to live. We encourage and empower our employees to get involved with their local communities and use their skills and, where possible, the Company’s resources to help create a mutual benefit.
People: finding and developing great people throughout their fulfilmentcrowd journey.
We strive to ensure colleagues enjoy work and have the opportunity to enhance their skills and career options. As such, we continue to invest in apprenticeships and management development programmes and actively look for ways in which we can promote and increase the diversity of our workforce.
Environmental Management: Managing our impact on the environment in a responsible and ethical manner.
We know that our activities have an impact on the environment and have a duty to manage this in a responsible and ethical manner. We do this through identifying all significant environmental impacts and implementing processes to prevent, reduce and mitigate them.
The development and implementation of this policy is the responsibility of the company’s Board of Directors.
