We build custom fulfilment services around the needs of our customers. Examples of our most recent work include:
At fulfilmentcrowd, when we need more space, we don't just go out and build bigger warehouses. This would be costly and have a negative impact on the environment, swallowing up green space, not to mention the energy consumed by construction.
We believe that there are literally hundreds of millions of square feet of underutilised space in warehouses around the world and we seek to fill this space, making the very best of what is already there.
We partner with warehouse owners around the world, to make use of their under-utilised space and resources. Often these warehouse owners are retailers in their own right with decades of experience in the management of fulfilment and shipping of orders.
We ship thousands of orders every day across our international network of fulfilment centres. What may seem like huge volumes to most online retailers is just another day at the office for fulfilmentcrowd.
We've been developing software to manage the collection, processing and shipping of orders for nearly 40 years and trusted to manage fulfilment services for some of the world's best-known online retail brands. Literally hundreds of e-commerce businesses have trusted us to deliver for their customers. You can too.
The fulfilmentcrowd business model is truly unique. Most fulfilment service providers would baulk at working with start-ups due to the space required for stock holding with little to no guarantee of order volumes. We are different.
By making use of previously under-utilised space and resources, fulfilmentcrowd enables early-stage online retailers to place their stock with us, even if initial orders volumes are really low. After all, the space wasn't being used anyway!
The model allows fulfilmentcrowd to operate profitably and on a viable basis, regardless of the number of orders being shipped. So dream big, focus on your business and trust fulfilmentcrowd to do the shipping. Hundreds of other retailers already do.

The third largest economy in Europe, France comes seventh in the global league table for online sales with revenue of US$67 billion in 2021. Online penetration is 69% which means that percentage of the adult population have made a website purchase over the past year. With 93.6% of the population having a broadband connection, the French are considered to be very ‘internet savvy’ with smartphone penetration of 77%.

Market expansion in France is expected to continue over the next few years, with a predicted 5% compound annual growth as indicated by the Statista Digital Market Outlook. Compared to the year-on-year growth rate, this slow-down suggests a moderately flooded market but nonetheless one that still has significant headroom for growth
By nature, the French are cautious and online purchases are secured through trust and assurance of service. An average website conversion rate of 1.1% in the country lags behind larger markets such as Germany (2.2%) and UK (1.9%) and cross-border sales (French purchases from foreign websites) are tracking at the 25% mark which suggests those online retailers distributing their goods from within France are at a major advantage.
In response to predominantly US-driven sales events such as Black Friday and Prime Day, France does things differently! Driven by six of the largest ecommerce players, ‘French Days’ are week-long promotion periods, growing in popularity with recent surveys suggesting 43% of those questioned would be likely to make an online purchase.
In common with most major European nations, Amazon.fr is the leading marketplace with US$5.9bn of revenue in 2021. However, that is where the similarities end as the rest is a carve up with France-only websites such as Cdiscount, Veepee, Auchan and FNAC taking the other Top 5 spots.
France is known for its style and the largest market segment for online purchases is Fashion, accounting for 29% of revenue. This is followed by toys, Hobby and DIY (21%), Electronics and Media (20%) Furniture & Appliances (16%) and Food & Personal Care (14%).
In France, by far the largest carrier is La Poste which trades under brands including Colissimo, Delivengo and Chronopost. Offering delivery through La Poste is almost expected by consumers and a major contributor to their trust and confidence in an online retailer.
Parcel delivery through Pick Up and Drop Off (‘PUDO’) locations is very popular in France and the country is considered an international leader in this field. Ordered goods are delivered to local shops such as supermarkets or petrol stations, from where they can be collected by consumers. This assures consistent, sustainable service quality and first time delivery every time.
