Our Chorley-based Matrix Point warehouse is accredited by the UK’s leading certification body, SOIL Association, under licence number DT23401. We are regularly inspected to ensure that we satisfy Soil Association Organic Standards and Regulations (EC) No 834/2007 and 889/2008- this means that our actions for organic fulfilment exceed current EU regulations. One of the few fulfilment providers with a SOIL-certified warehouse, this accreditation allows us to store, package and deliver organic and ethically-sourced goods for niche online retailers that operate across food and drink, supplement, cosmetics and textiles market sectors.
Like all our specialist product handling, we follow rigorous guidelines throughout the entire fulfilment process. From Goods In, our client’s organic products are quarantined and “organic-verified” through a cross-checking for the correct labelling on the item’s outer packaging. Once given the green light, organic goods are configured with the fulfilmentcrowd platform; the intelligent technology within our software then prompts our workforce to adhere to organic regulations for the remainder of the product’s lifetime with us. These goods are stored in an isolated area of the warehouse, while our pre-meditated picking process ensures that organic orders are always handled separately to non-organic products.
Our protocol for organic fulfilment encompasses the same money-back Service Level Guarantee as the rest of our specialist product services. With orders fulfilled from a cut-off time as early as 10am, we were proud to provide same-day dispatch for 99.85% of our client’s deliveries last year. We also offer a wide range of delivery options for organic goods at very competitive prices, with access to untracked, economy, premium bulk and international services from trusted carriers.
