Order management & CRM features

We've organised the capacities of our eCommerce software through a feature-focused format.

Sales order enquiries

The Order Enquiry and Order Tracking functionality within our software ensures you will never "lose" an order again.

Customer Order Enquiries are best handled through the Customer Relationship Management Activity Centre, however, there is often a requirement to be able to enquire on all orders on the system or search for a specific order reference, this can be done via the Sales Order Processing menu.

Open Orders Enquiry

The Open Orders Enquiry will search for all orders which have not yet been either cancelled or completed / Invoiced. This enquiry is useful for searching for a specific order. A search can be run using either:

  • Sales Order Reference
  • Customer Address
  • Alternative Delivery Address
  • Products
  • Alternative Order References

Advanced searches can also be created and saved, which will allow you to find orders via any criteria you may require.

Once a transaction has been found, you can shoot through to see the details, or alternatively enquire on the history of the order.

Also, the Activites Container Can be Launched for the customer linked to the selected order in the enquiry, by clicking on the Activities Icon in the Toolbar.

A really useful feature of the Open Orders Enquiry in the ability to view the status of all your outstanding orders, in order to get a good understanding of your order pipeline.

When using the Open Order Enquiry to view all open orders in this way, the Column Grouping feature on the Data Displays can be very useful. The screenshot below shows how the transactions display in the enquiry above have been grouped by Stage, which effectively represents the orders status.

Whilst millions of transactions can be held in the software system, the standard system has a limit on the number of rows which can be viewed at any one time, this is done for performance reasons and by default is set to 1000 rows. If you are likely to have more than 1000 open orders at any one time, then you may need to have this row limit increased in order to get the most out of this functionality. This can be done via a change request.


Sales Workflow Enquiry

The Sales Workflow Enquiry works in exactly the same way as the Open Orders Enquiry, but will also include Invoiced Sales and Lost Sales / Cancelled Orders
