Sales by customer, category, product and group

Our software's Sales By Customer, Category, Product and Group Report is designed to help you easily view your sales in multiple ways to suit your needs.

The report utilises the 3ex.net standard Sales By Customer, Category, Product and Group Reporting Transaction Reporting Rule and Sales By Customer, Category, Product and Group Reporting Transaction Reporting Template. The standard Transaction Reporting Template used for Sales By Customer, Category, Product and Group Reporting allows the end user to specify criteria including:

  • Address (Specify a range of customers or leave blank to include all customers on the report)
  • Transaction Date (Specify a range of transactions to include on the report within a particular date range)
  • Creation Date (Specify a range of transaction based on when they were initially created to be included on the report)
  • Drop down selection of Channel (Specify the order methods to be included on the report)
  • Drop down selection of Promotion (Specify the promotional campaigns to be included on the report)
  • Drop down selection of Product Group: Stock Control (Specify a Stock type for the report to be generated from e.g. Tangible items)
  • Drop down selection of Product Group: Class (Specify a Class of product for the report to be generated from e.g.Accessories)
  • Hold Reason (Specify a particular reason such as "Restricted Product" for the report to find matching transactions at the Invoiced workflow stage.)
  • Product (Specify a range or an individual product for the report to find matching transactions at the Invoiced workflow stage.))
  • Supplier (Specify a range or an individual Supplier for the report to find matching transactions at the Invoiced workflow stage.)
  • Drop down selection of Transaction Reserved Status (Specify if the report generated should only include part or wholly unfulfilled transactions at the Invoiced workflow stage. The screen shot below displays all variants for this criterion)
  • Drop down selection of Transaction Line Reserved Status (Specify if the report generated should only include part or wholly unfulfilled transaction lines at the Invoiced workflow stage.)

Sales By Customer Category Product and Group Report Reporting

Once the criteria has been entered into the template, the next steps within the Sales By Customer, Category, Product and Group Report allows the user to review the report details on screen in a consolidated format for ease of viewing the transaction details allowing the user to decide whether or not they need to produce a printed report. The screen shot below shows the first consolidation step where the system displays a summary screen at Address level. This gives the end user a quick reference as customer name, number and value of transactions.

At this point in the process the user can choose to export this information to Excel by simply right clicking on the grid.

The screen shot below shows the second consolidation step where the 3ex.net system displays a summary screen at Category (Channel/Promotion) level. This gives the end user a quick reference as to the order method, quantity and value of of transactions.

The screen shot below shows the third consolidation step where the 3ex.net system displays a summary screen at Product level. This gives the end user a quick reference to the Products, quantity and value sold in the reporting timeframe.

The screen shot below shows the last consolidation step where the 3ex.net system displays a summary screen at Product Group level. This gives the end user a quick reference to the Product Class, quantity and value of products sold residing in the class in the reporting timeframe.

The final step of the process allows the end user to either finish without printing or by simply ticking the check box to produce the required report to be produced on screen. As with all standard net reports, the data displayed on screen can then subsequently be exported to csv, pdf or excel format by simply clicking the save icon and choosing the preferred format.
