Easily identify your most popular products.

The Sales By Product Report is designed to help you easily identify your best selling products over a specified period of time.

The report utilises our Transaction Reporting System.

The standard Transaction Reporting Template used for Sales By Product Reporting allows the end user to specify criteria including:

  • Address (Specify a range of customers or leave blank to include all customers on the report)
  • Transaction Date (Specify a range of transactions to include on the report within a particular date range)
  • Creation Date (Specify a range of transaction based on when they were initially created to be included on the report)
  • Drop down selection of Product Group: Stock Control (Specify a Stock type for the report to be generated from e.g. Tangible items)
  • Drop down selection of Product Group: Class (Specify a Class of product for the report to be generated from e.g.Accessories)
  • Hold Reason (Specify a particular reason such as "Restricted Product" for the report to find matching transactions at the Invoiced workflow stage.)
  • Product (Specify a range or an individual product for the report to find matching transactions at the Invoiced workflow stage.))
  • Supplier (Specify a range or an individual Supplier for the report to find matching transactions at the Invoiced workflow stage.)
  • Drop down selection of Transaction Reserved Status (Specify if the report generated should only include part or wholly unfulfilled transactions at the Invoiced workflow stage. The screen shot below displays all variants for this criterion)
  • Drop down selection of Transaction Line Reserved Status (Specify if the report generated should only include part or wholly unfulfilled transaction lines at the Invoiced workflow stage.)

 Sales By Product

Once the criteria has been entered into the template, the next steps within the Sales By Product Reporting allows the user to review the report details on screen in a consolidated format, allowing the user to decide whether or not they need to produce a printed report. The screen shot below shows the consolidation step where the system displays a summary screen at Product level. This gives the end user a quick reference as to the Products, number sold and the values of those transactions within the period reported upon..

At this point in the process the user can choose to export this information to Excel by simply right clicking on the grid.

The final step of the process allows the end user to either finish without printing or by simply ticking the check box, the standard 3ex.net Sales By Product Report is produced on screen.

The report displays in an product consolidated format with the facility to drill down into each Product to reveal the linked transactions. The software's standard report displays:

  • Product Code
  • Product Description
  • Number of Lines
  • Nett Value
  • VAT Value
  • Gross Value

As with all of our software's reports, the data displayed on screen can then subsequently be exported to csv, pdf or excel formal by simply clicking the save icon and choosing the preferred format.
