PHIX, a Manchester-based luxury menswear brand, has experienced rapid and consistent growth since partnering with fulfilmentcrowd in 2021. What began as a promising eCommerce business operating from our Martland Park centre has evolved into a global success story. 

Since our partnership began, the brand’s order volumes have risen dramatically, with a 450% increase reflecting strong, sustained, year-on-year growth. 

As PHIX explores new markets, including a major push across the United States and plans for European distribution, fulfilmentcrowd continues to play a key role in scaling operations efficiently while maintaining the premium brand experience its customers expect. 

 

The challenges: Operational difficulties that limited brand potential 

Like many fast-scaling brands, PHIX experienced several growing pains. Rapid growth introduced complexities across several areas, including operational challenges that threatened to limit the brand’s potential.

  • Forecasting difficulties, with underestimated volumes occasionally throttling orders

  • US expansion: Stock is held at our New Jersey fulfillment centre to manage US orders and reduce tariff impacts, a strategic move expected to double PHIX’s growth in the American market 
  • Collaborative account management: Close coordination between PHIX and fulfilmentcrowd via our dedicated Account Management service has resulted in continuous improvement and operational agility 
  • Premium fulfilment standards: Every order is handled with PHIX’s signature touch – from seven styles of bespoke boxes and handwritten notes to black tissue packaging – reinforcing brand identity through every delivery 

Our fulfilment expertise doesn’t end with strategy. Our technology – improved daily via customer feedback and 40 in-house developers – is the driving force behind the growth of hundreds of brands worldwide. 

PHIX has taken advantage of our tech-first approach to fulfillment, with new tech developments in play or on the horizon. 

One of the key introductions so far has been a Global-e checkout implementation for US orders, helping to provide a smooth checkout service for customers and reduce basket abandonment rates.

The results: Rapid year-on-year growth at consistently high SLA 

Our partnership with PHIX has delivered measurable improvements in performance while maintaining the premium experience the brand delivers to its customers. 

  • SLA achievement rates: 99.7% fulfilment accuracy across 2024; 98.7% through Q3 2025 
  • Scalable growth: Order volumes have grown more than five times since 2021, with continued year-on-year growth for the brand 
  • Operational stability: PHIX can now handle high-volume periods, including last-minute deliveries for major clients (such as ITV) and limited-edition collaborations with the likes of The Rolling Stones. 

Looking ahead: What’s next for PHIX? 

With a new jewellery line launching in October 2025 and plans to expand further into the EU market, PHIX is entering its next phase of growth.
