Investing in our community: new charity partnership with Inspire Youth Zone
3:33

Giving back has always been important to us. That’s why today we’re excited to announce our new charity partnership with Inspire Youth Zone, a Chorley-based charity that has been transforming young lives in the local area since 2018.

As a global business proudly rooted in Chorley, we're delighted to support a charity making a difference right on our doorstep.

First thing's first: a word on Rosemere Cancer Foundation

Before we look ahead, we want to take a moment to recognise our previous charity partner, Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Over 18 months of fundraising, we ran, swam and baked (our favourite bit) our way to raise a total of £4,537 for Rosemere – money that went directly towards supporting cancer patients and their families across Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Rosemere do some incredible work, and we're proud to have played a part in their story. If you'd like to learn more about the work they do, head to their website

Introducing Inspire Youth Zone, our new charity partner

Inspire Youth Zone is a charity (literally) close to home for us. Based in Chorley, it provides a safe, welcoming space where young people can try new activities, build confidence, develop skills and form positive relationships with trusted youth workers. Sessions cost just 50p, and their doors are open to young people aged 8-19 (up to 25 for those with additional needs) across Chorley and the surrounding areas.

As for the impact they make, the numbers speak for themselves. In 2025 alone, Inspire supported 3,378 young people (totalling over 59,000 engagements across the year), provided 12,000 free meals and delivered 1,706 sessions.

Open seven days a week and with more than 20 activities available every day, the charity makes a huge impact on young people in the community: 81% of members feel more self-confident, 86% consider themselves healthier and 90% of frequent attendees feel better prepared for the future.

“Partnering with Inspire Youth Zone represents a relationship with a charity that shares our values – community, opportunity and investing in people. After the fantastic work we did with Rosemere, raising over £4,500, we’re ready to build something equally impactful with Inspire. After just one visit, we felt the importance of what they’re doing in the community, and we can’t wait to contribute to their efforts.”

Our commitment as a Patron

We’re proud to be joining Inspire Youth Zone’s Patron programme, committing £6,000 per year to help sustain and improve everything the charity is involved with. This financial contribution forms the foundation of our support, but it’s only just the beginning.

One of the things we love most about this partnership is how it allows our whole team to get involved (beyond just fundraising, which we're planning to do plenty of).

We’ll be getting stuck in with volunteer days, running skill-based sessions for the young people at Inspire and putting our expertise to work in ways that make a real difference.

Ways we can do this include our tech experts running coding workshops for young people, or our marketing team supporting Inspire’s in-house marketer with photography, video content, website development and design work.

On top of our financial contributions, we'll aim to share our skills and connect the young people in our community with the kind of real-world experience and inspiration that can genuinely change their lives.

New charity partner announced

“Partnering with Inspire Youth Zone felt like a natural fit for us. They’re doing something really special in Chorley: giving young people a safe place to go and investing in their futures. As a business, we have a talented team with a breadth of skills, and it’s exciting to think about how we can put those skills to work beyond the fundraising activities we plan to do during our partnership. This is a chance for us to make a tangible difference in our local community, and we can’t wait to get started.”
