fulfilmentcrowd strengthens leadership team for next phase of growth
2:17

As fulfilmentcrowd enters its next stage of growth, we’ve made a series of key leadership appointments designed to strengthen our global team and sharpen our focus on delivering long-term value.

Following investment from Palatine in 2025, these changes mark a natural step forward as we continue to scale across territories and continue to support ambitious omnichannel brands.

A new Managing Director to lead the next chapter

Paul Taylor has been appointed Managing Director, stepping up from his previous role as Chief Operating Officer.

Joining fulfilmentcrowd in 2021, Paul has over 20 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, retail and eCommerce fulfilment, and has previously held senior roles at ASDA, DHL Supply Chain, Wincanton and the Cauldwell Group.

Paul will lead a newly formed growth board, bringing together cross-functional expertise to drive key value creation initiatives across the business. His focus will be on ensuring we continue to scale in a way that’s both efficient and aligned with the needs of our clients.

Strengthening the board across key areas

Alongside Paul’s appointment, we’ve made a number of senior leadership moves across commercial, finance, marketing and sales.

Ben Chicken has been promoted to Director of Commercial, where he’ll lead a more data-led approach to decision-making across the business, helping us move faster and smarter as we grow.

Rachel Miller joins the board as Director of Finance, taking responsibility for financial risk management and corporate compliance. Her appointment reflects both our recent growth and the expansion of our global operations.

Katie Shepherd steps into the role of Director of Marketing, following her return to the business in 2024 and her work rebuilding the fulfilmentcrowd brand. She’ll continue to focus on strengthening how we show up in the market and support our customers.

Matthew Humphreys, Director of Sales, will lead our international new business acquisition strategy, helping to drive continued growth across new and existing markets.

These new appointments join our existing board members – Shaun Cummins (Director of Information Systems), Austin Waddecar (Director of Product) and Chris White (Director of Client Services) – further strengthening the leadership team across every area of the business.

“This is a natural evolution of our leadership team as we focus on driving our next stage of growth. The strength of fulfilmentcrowd lies in its people, and these appointments reflect both the depth of talent within the business and the progress we’ve made over the past two years. I have every confidence that Paul and his team will continue to steer the business effectively as we scale across territories.”

Lee Thompson, CEO
